DETERMINANT OF ECONOMIC GROWTH IN ORGANIZATION OF ISLAMIC COOPERATION (OIC) COUNTRIES

Abstract

The aim of this research is to find the effect of Inflation Rate, Exchange Rate and Population on Economic Growth in member countries of Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). This research uses sample of 26 selected OIC member countries because it is adapted to the completeness of the publication of available data. This study a quantitative approach and analyzed using panel data analysis. The result revealed that inflation, exchange rate and total population rates simultaneously have a significant influence on economic growth in OIC member countries. Inflation has a significant effect on reducing economic growth. Exchange Rate has a significant effect on economic growth. The total population has a significant effect on economic growth.
